MOPS is a gathering of women raising children from birth through 5 years old. Our meetings include a meal, a guest speaker, an activity and discussion time. Speakers present a variety of "mom topics" such as: parenting skills, how to resolve conflict, meal planning/cooking, organizational tips, financial planning, etc. Childcare is provided for children ages 6 months and up (please contact us to reserve your spot).

MOPS is a Christian, international non-profit organization and everyone is welcome. The MOPS goal is to, "meet the needs of every mom; urban and rural; stay-at-home and working; teen, single, and married. Moms with different life-styles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be." Our MOPS groups focus on building friendships through time to talk, fun social activities, and by providing a safe place to share the challenges and joys of motherhood. Our heart is that no mom is alone. We want to encourage and equip every mother of young children.

Our morning group meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 9:15- 11:45 in the Fellowship Hall at Blacksburg Baptist Church. An optional 6-week Bible Study is offered once a semester. For more information contact: bburgMOPS@gmail.com or 540-391-0164.
