Acteens
Women on Mission
There are six Women on Mission groups, and women may join any group at any time. Please contact Melody Bizzell at 540-552-4647 for more information.
Warm Hearth - Meets at 10:00 am on the First Tuesday at Warm Hearth. The Warm Hearth group is comprised of residents of Warm Hearth Retirement Center residents who meet for Bible study, singing and fellowship. They are led by Women on Mission members.
Round Table - Meets at 10:00 am on the Second Wednesday at various locations. The Round Table group studies interesting Christian books related to missions. They also support local and international missions that are sponsored by the Women on Mission.
Ballew-Green - Meets at 10:30 on the Second Tuesday at BBC. The Ballew-Greens are named for two of the church's adopted missionaries. They study missions through speakers or programs and support missions through giving money, their time, and prayers. They often eat together at a restaurant or member's home.
Missions and More - Meets at 9:30 am on the Fourth Tuesday at various BBC. The Missions and More group studies and supports a wide variety of local and international missions, including the Ti Peligre School in Haiti, the Acteens at BBC and the church's adopted missionaries. They often have speakers who report on their mission experiences and then fellowship following their meeting.
Grace Fellowship - Meets at 6:00 pm on the Second Thursday at various locations. In Grace Fellowship, women age 18 and over enjoy good food, good fellowship and good Bible study. They learn about mission projects through speakers and support local and international mission projects, including Love Lights at BBC.
