Dear Nursery Volunteers, Thank you for serving in our church nursery. "How did I become a nursery volunteer?" you may ask... Those of you who have children and use our nurseries, are asked to serve three to four times a year. Others have expressed an interest in serving. If you want to have your name removed, let me know.
At Blacksburg Baptist Church we believe that children are a special gift from God. Thank you for sharing in our commitment to provide a safe, secure, happy and loving environment for both our children and their parents.
Enclosed is the new schedule for July through September. Please check over the schedule to see if you have a conflict with the date in which you are assigned. If you have a conflict, PLEASE TRY TO SWITCH WITH SOMEONE OR CALL A SUBSTITUTE. I will send you a reminder before your scheduled Sunday. The schedule will also be listed on the BBC website. Please make a note of the following changes.
- There are 3 nurseries located outside the Sanctuary: Room 107 for infants, Room 108 for toddlers and Room 1036 for two's.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the 11:15 service.
- Two workers are needed in each room-you the volunteer as well as an employed BBC childcare giver.
- More detailed instructions are in each room. You are required to fill out and sign a check-list before leaving.
