First Lesson - Psalm 100
100:1: A Psalm of thanksgiving. Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands.
100:2: Serve Jehovah with gladness: Come before his presence with singing.
100:3: Know ye that Jehovah, he is God: It is he that hath made us, and we are his; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
100:4: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Give thanks unto him, and bless his name.
100:5: For Jehovah is good; His lovingkindness endureth for ever, And his faithfulness unto all generations.
Second Lesson - Mark 1:35 - 38
1:35: And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose up and went out, and departed into a desert place, and there prayed.
1:36: And Simon and they that were with him followed after him;
1:37: and they found him, and say unto him, All are seeking thee.
1:38: And he saith unto them, Let us go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also; for to this end came I forth.

12:7: And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted overmuch, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted overmuch.
12:8: Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
12:9: And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
