April 11 - "This Is The Day .... Rejoice!"
Pastor Tommy McDearis
Litany Of Affirmation - Isaiah 28:16
28:16: therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner- stone of sure foundation: he that believeth shall not be in haste.

Second Lesson - John 20:19-20

20:19: When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20:20: And when he had said this, he showed unto them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.

The Message - Psalms 118:22 - 24; Matthew 26:14 - 16, 47 - 50; Matthew 27:1 - 5
Psalms
118:22: The stone which the builders rejected Is become the head of the corner.
118:23: This is Jehovah’s doing; It is marvellous in our eyes.
118:24: This is the day which Jehovah hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Matthew
26:14: Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
26:15: and said, What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they weighed unto him thirty pieces of silver.
26:16: And from that time he sought opportunity to deliver him unto them .

26:47: And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priest and elders of the people.
26:48: Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he: take him.
26:49: And straightway he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, Rabbi; and kissed him.
26:50: And Jesus said unto him, Friend, do that for which thou art come. Then they came and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.

27:1: Now when morning was come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
27:2: and they bound him, and led him away, and delivered him up to Pilate the governor.
27:3: Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
27:4: saying, I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood. But they said, What is that to us? see thou to it .
27:5: And he cast down the pieces of silver into the sanctuary, and departed; and he went away and hanged himself.
