Welcome to Blacksburg Baptist Church! If you are searching for a warm and welcoming church where people try to live their faith day to day, Blacksburg Baptist Church is a place for you.  If you are not a Baptist....no problem!  Over half our new members come from non-Baptist backgrounds.  BBC cherishes diversity within our central confession:  "Jesus Christ is Lord!"  

Our Worship

We have three worship services with three distinct styles of worship:

8:30 AM - Traditional worship with elements of liturgy
10:00 AM - Celebration and Praise
11:15 AM - A blended service that combines elements of each

Our Location

550 North Main Street, Blacksburg, across from the VT campus (the only church on Main Street in downtown Blacksburg, so just look for the steeple!)

Our Bible Study

We have Sunday Bible study for all ages that meets at 9:45 AM.  We hold classes at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM for college students.  

Our Fellowship Time

Coffee, juice and donuts accompany a time of gathering and greeting.  All are welcome ... and invited!

Our Congregation

BBC is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic church.  Over 70% of our members are young adults, but we have large and vibrant senior adult and college ministries.  We also enjoy children's and youth ministries that are known across our denomination as among the best in VA.  BBC also has a strong missions ministry, the largest and most diverse missions program of any church our size in VA.  We also enjoy a seven-day-a-week, morning-to-evening local ministry. 

How should I dress?

Dress as you choose.  Blue jeans are welcomed, but so are ties and dresses.  You will find it all at BBC ... every Sunday!
